This ^^^ is the order that Entertainment Weekly revealed, and while it’s not necessarily the order of operations Tuesday night, if it is , there are some things to read into. Specifically, the choice to have Amber and Pasha kick off the show. This is significant because former DWTS winner Bobby Bones just revealed that the performers who dance at the top of each hour are definitely producer/fan favorites.
“The network would probably kill me for saying this,” Bobby recently said . “If they’re putting you at the top of the hour, that means they want you to be seen. Because during [the live show] if they’ll put you at one or they’ll put you at the top of the second hour … people are flipping off of other channels if they’re watching linearly through television, if they left one show and they’re coming over to watch that second hour, you’re the first person they see.”
He added, “There’s strategy involved with who they put at the top of the show and who they’re putting at the very top of that next hour and who they’re putting at the end as well.”
We already know Pasha and Amber are fan favorites, but if producers do put them first, it means the show wants them “to be seen.” As for the second hour, if this order of dances is accurate, it looks like the coveted spot could go to Jenna and Val...
