Cara Delevingne had fans doing a double take as she ditched the brunette locks she’s been sporting all year.
The supermodel was photographed with a polarizing, icy hair transformation during a photoshoot in New York City on October 27.
Delevingne recently sported a dark chocolate color with long bangs at the Academy Museum Gala on October 17.
Cara Delevingne gave a dramatic new hair transformation an equally dramatic unveiling during a New York City photoshoot on October 27. In photos shared by the Daily Mail, the hair chameleon looked unrecognizable as she sported icy new locks complete with a polarizing detail while laying on the street.

Delevingne swapped out the rich chocolate brown tresses she’s been sporting thus far this year, debuting long white-blonde hair in a blunt rib-grazing cut. Upping the ante on the dramatic new hue, the supermodel also sported divisive baby bangs that were cropped to the middle of her forehead.
Delevingne has been diving full-force into her music career, including releasing a NSFW music video for her track “Crazy, Baby,” but she showed off her modeling prowess while lying in a busy New York City intersection. For the shoot, the model wore a bedazzled silver and black column dress with a large chest cutout and shimmering embellishments on the bodice.

After sporting golden blonde waves on the runway in October 2025, Delevingne kicked off 2026 as a brunette by styling her newly darkened locks in a sleek bun at the Wuthering Heights premiere on January 28 in Los Angeles.
Most recently, the Suicide Squad actress was spotted sporting dark brown shaggy waves and long front bangs with a strapless black leather jumpsuit as she reunited with pal Taylor Swift at the Academy Museum Gala on October 17.

While she might be currently embracing her brunette era, Delevingne has always been a poster child for experimental beauty lovers. The natural blonde famously showed off a platinum blonde lob back in 2017 for Paris Fashion Week, quickly followed by subtly pink-tinted white tresses. After she shaved her head for her film Life in a Year, Delevingne also dyed her growing buzz cut with platinum and icy hues.
Meanwhile, last year at the Cannes Film Festival, the star made headlines when she showed up at The History of Sound premiere with dyed black eyebrows and a jet-black wet-effect shaggy wig, which featured micro bangs. However, the daring transformation was short-lived, as Delevingne was back to her signature golden blonde tresses the next day.
