If you can count on Loewe for anything, it’s for them to bring the color back into this drab world. For their third collection at the Spanish luxury brand, creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez welcomed fashion fanatics into the Esplanade Saint-Louis inside the grounds of the Château de Vincennes. Against a wall-to-wall white backdrop, the collection of vibrant pale blues and yellows bounced around the room. A series of rich, black and brown leather bomber jackets balanced out the color palette and acted almost like an anchor for the mint and super saturated tones to contrast themselves against. Of course, Loewe would be nothing without their signature off-kilter yet inviting silhouettes, like this season’s ultra-high-waisted, open-flapped trousers and skirts. In the front row, we caught up with friends of Interview like Cole Escola, Ziwe , and Megan Skiendiel and Lara Raj of Katseye . As the models strutted their stuff down the catwalk, there was a bittersweet end-of-summer feeling that can perhaps only be cured once we finally get our hands on these clothes ourselves.
